We decided to make a leprechaun trap and see if he leaves anything behind for us!
I found this empty manger at a thrift store and knew I could turn it into a fun leprechaun trap!
With some spray paint, printable signs and accessories from Dollar Tree we were able to turn this lucky find into a pretty awesome trap.

This Lucky Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix is so easy to make and it’s delicious! I made a giant bowl of it this past weekend and it disappeared so quickly. The odd part was we still never found any leprechauns! ?
Ingredients:
5 cups of toasted rice cereal
4 cups pretzel sticks
4 cups Cheez-Itz crackers
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup green and yellow M&M’s
1 stick of butter
3/4 cups of brown sugar
1 tbsp McCormack Cake Batter Flavor
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter and mix with brown sugar. Once it is combined add cake batter flavoring. Mix until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, mix crackers, cereal, almonds and pretzels. Pour butter mixture and stir everything together until evenly coated.
Spread cereal mixture evenly on the cooking sheet. Bake 20-30 minutes stirring the mixture halfway.
Remove from oven and cool completely. Add M&Ms and keep in air tight container.
I recently found just marshmallows instead of having to buy Lucky Charms Cereal, this would be a fantastic addition!
