The most we ever do to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is wear green and drink Shamrock Shakes from McDonald’s.

This Lucky Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix is so easy to make and it’s delicious!

I wanted to do more this year so since I can’t relive my St. Patrick’s Day Kegs n’ Eggs days from college, I decided to share this fun and simple recipe to that is much more family friendly!

This Lucky Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix is so easy to make and it’s delicious! I made a giant bowl of it this past weekend and it disappeared so quickly. The odd part was we still never found any leprechauns! ?

Ingredients for Lucky Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of toasted rice cereal

  • 4 cups pretzel sticks

  • 4 cups Cheez-Itz crackers

  • 1 cup sliced almonds

  • 1 cup green and yellow M&M’s

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 3/4 cups of brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp McCormack Cake Batter Flavor

This Lucky Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix is so easy to make and it’s delicious!

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter and mix with brown sugar. Once it is combined add cake batter flavoring. Mix until smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix crackers, cereal, almonds and pretzels. Pour butter mixture and stir everything together until evenly coated.
  • Spread cereal mixture evenly on the cooking sheet. Bake 20-30 minutes stirring the mixture halfway.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely. Add M&Ms and keep in air tight container.

  • I recently found just marshmallows instead of having to buy Lucky Charms Cereal, this would be a fantastic addition!

    • 1 stick butter
