In a world that can feel chaotic and uncertain, March was about being intentional in making time for family, friends, creativity, and a little self care where I can.
We Celebrated Leo Turing 2
I still can’t believe it. We went all in on a “Born 2 Ball” birthday theme, and it was such a fun one to pull together. Think sporty details, playful treats, and all the little touches that made it feel special for him.

I Tried New Recipes
You know I can’t resist a good food trend, and these were worth the hype:
- Crispy Rice Tofu Salad (so good, so satisfying)
- Viral Blanket Dumplings (cozy and easy)

Spring DIY’s are in Full Swing
I’ve been leaning into lighter, brighter projects lately and these turned out so cute:

Book Club Meetup
We met up to discuss The One by John Marrs, which definitely gave us a lot to talk about. We had dinner at Bellini’s and it was the perfect cozy spot for a book club night.

New Wellness Routine
I recently started a new journey with NAD+ through Effecty and wanted to share my personal experience so far. As a busy mom, I don’t always have time for extra appointments, so being able to go through everything online made it feel so much more doable.
I answered a few basic questions, a licensed provider reviewed my information, and I was able to complete everything in under 15 minutes. The website was clear, the pricing made sense, and the whole experience felt simple and approachable.

A New Creative Hobby I Didn’t Expect to Love
I took a junk journaling class at the Albany Public Library this month, and I am officially hooked.
It was such a fun, low pressure way to be creative, using scraps, paper, and little found pieces to make something totally unique. It reminded me how important it is to carve out time for creativity just for the sake of it, not for content or productivity, just because it feels good.
I already know this is something I’m going to keep doing.

Skincare DIY with Simply Earth
I’ve been having so much fun making my own clean skincare at home. Simply Earth makes it incredibly easy because everything you need comes right in the box. It feels good knowing exactly what I’m putting on my skin, and the process itself is honestly such a relaxing creative outlet.
Watch what I made here:

A Weekend in Boston
We spent a weekend in Boston to see Zachariah Porter at the Wilbur Theatre and it was the best time! My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard!

We made it a full weekend of good food too:
- Dinner at Scampo (The homemade breadsticks and pesto hit the spot, but the butternut squash and pumpkin Ravioli sealed the deal for me!)
- Brunch at Sugar Factory (they pink princess burger and giant Dubai chocolate cinnamon roll are a must)

Community Moments I Loved
Moms for Moms Initiative hosted such a great book club and Mama Market featuring mom-owned businesses. I love seeing events like this come together.

Their next events:
- Book Club: April 17
- Mama Market: May 3
