Blueberry Lemon Waffles with Lemon Glaze Syrup

These blueberry lemon pancakes provide a delicious balance of tart and sweetness with a burst of blueberry flavor. The decadent lemon glaze adds the perfect touch to a mouthful of blueberries!

Ingredients
  

  • pancake mix any ingredients the pancake mix calls for
  • 3 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cake batter extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Lemon Glaze Syrup

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbs milk
  • 1 tbs lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Prepare pancake mix according to box directions.
  • Once fully mixed, add lemon juice and cake batter extract.
  • Slowly fold in blueberries and mix.
  • Heat waffle iron to 375 degrees F and cook waffles.
  • In a small bowl mix powdered sugar, milk and lemon juice.
  • Stir until fully smooth.
  • Once waffles are made, drizzle lemon glaze over them and top with fresh blueberries.
