May was packed with family adventures, creative projects, local events, and a few new experiences that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Looking back, it was one of those months filled with little moments that made for some really special memories.

A Day at the Mama Market

One of my favorite events this month was visiting the Mama Market. Not only did I get updated photos taken by Modern Mother Photography, but I also had the chance to connect with so many amazing mom-owned businesses in our community. It was such a great reminder of how talented and supportive our local moms are.

Cooking with Leo at Sur La Table

Leo and I spent a special afternoon together at a Tiny Taste Makers cooking class at Sur La Table. We made pizza pinwheels and cinnamon sugar pinwheels, and he had an absolute blast getting hands-on in the kitchen. These little one-on-one adventures are becoming some of my favorite memories.

Crafting in the Park

We also joined Moms for Moms Initiativefor a Mommy & Me stepping stone craft event in the park. It was the perfect Mother’s Day activity. Spending time outdoors, creating keepsakes with our little ones, and connecting with other moms made for such a meaningful afternoon.

Mother’s Day at Home

Mother’s Day was exactly what I wanted it to be, simple and creative. We spent the morning at home painting, working on pottery projects, crafting together, and enjoying family time. Later that evening, we made hot pot at home, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day. It was fun, interactive, and delicious.

Custom Jewelry with Kendra Scott

The Kendra Scott Color Bar was such a fun experience. I designed a custom pair of earrings, and Franco helped pick out the colors. It made the finished piece feel even more special.

Book Club Fun

At book club this month, we designed our own bookish drinkware and played book roulette to choose our next read. It was the perfect combination of books, crafts, and laughs.

A Recent Favorite

One thing I’ve been loving lately is my Celebritips press-on nails in the extra short length. These have been the perfect balance of cute and functional.

If you’ve been looking for an easy way to have salon-worthy nails at home, these are definitely worth checking out!

Creating a Custom Perfume

While getting my Botox touch-up at Revive and Bloom, I had the opportunity to visit The Mood Saratoga and create my own custom perfume. The entire experience was incredible. I got to blend a scent that felt completely unique to me, and the engraved bottle made it even more special.

Learning Mahjong

My mother-in-law taught me how to play Mahjong this month. I am still undecided on whether it’s my thing, but I can officially say I know how to play. Ask me again in a few months.

Celebrating Someone Special’s 40th Birthday

We celebrated a special someone’s  40th birthday at Anthony’s by Romo’s, and it was fantastic. The outdoor patio, lawn games, sunshine, and live music made for such a fun evening. Definitely a spot we’ll be visiting again.

Wellness Update: Effecty NAD+

I’ve continued my NAD+ journey with Effecty and have been really pleased with how easy the process has been. I’ve noticed more consistent energy throughout the day and better focus overall.

This month I continued sharing projects from the Simply Earth subscription boxes. I’ve loved making natural DIY products at home, including skincare and hair care recipes using essential oils and simple ingredients.
